1.1 “transaction agreement” refers to the provincial collective agreements listed below for the period as of April 1, 2017: 2.1 The duration of the collective agreement is from September 1, 2016 to August 31, 2018. Unless otherwise stated, this collective agreement will apply in full until August 31, 2018. Teba and the association agree on a pilot project that will be implemented during the 2019/20 school year in school services that volunteer with their association bargaining units. School services will provide the committee with job descriptions and other relevant employment materials that will be requested by the committee. The committee will present a report to TEBA and the association to inform on the next round of negotiations. The association and the TEBA appoint their representatives within thirty (30) days of the ratification of this agreement and the Committee begins its work within sixty (60) days of the ratification of the essential conditions. The association accepts that no right to leave or general leave pay should be invoked for a specified period of time before or during the duration of this collective agreement, unless otherwise stated in section 5.1. This bestiling letter expires on August 31, 2020. 2.5.1 Notwithstanding Article 130 of the Labour Code, a collective agreement that came into force between the parties at the time of notification remains applicable to the parties in the event of notification of a notice of opening of negotiations, despite possible notice in the collective agreement until 11.1.5 after the expiry of the leave provided for in point 11.1.1.

In all cases, another organization of the same nature is made available to the teacher, in accordance with the Labour Standards Act and the collective agreement. 1.6 “flat payment” refers to a one-time payment corresponding to other one-time payments sometimes referred to as signing bonuses. The “flat payment” does not explicitly include the continuation or extension of the lump sum payments currently provided for in the settlement agreements between employers and unions, which are listed in point 1.1 of this letter. 1.3 The trial program will take place during the 2017/18 school year and will expire on August 31, 2018, regardless of collective agreements based on the law. 1.1 This letter of appeal is made in accordance with Article 8 of the collective agreement (practical conditions).
